Posting limits and keeping your Facebook account safe
Facebook does not publish a daily limit, but posting many listings very quickly can be treated as spam. DealerToolkit posts one car at a time, waits a random 1 to 3 minutes between cars, and stops at your daily and per-sitting limits (10 and 5 by default). Build up slowly on new accounts.
Open Settings, then "Posting limits"
Set "Cars per sitting", "Cars per day", and the wait between cars "from" and "to" (in seconds). The defaults are 5 per sitting, 10 per day and a wait of 60 to 180 seconds.
Start slowly on a new Facebook account
If your account is new to Marketplace, post 2 to 5 cars a day for the first week, then build up. Established accounts that have sold on Marketplace before can usually post more.
Spread posts through the day
Several small sittings, for example five in the morning and five in the afternoon, look more natural than one large batch.
Keep listings accurate and honest
Use real photos of the actual vehicle, the correct price and mileage, and a clear description. If you are a business, say so in the description.
Watch your Marketplace insights
If views and clicks drop sharply, slow down. Remove sold cars promptly so buyers are not messaging about vehicles you no longer have.
Questions about this guide
How many cars can I post on Facebook Marketplace per day?
Facebook does not publish an official number. As a guide, new accounts should start with 2 to 5 listings a day and established accounts often post around 10. Posting many identical listings very quickly is what tends to trigger spam filters, so spread posts out.
