Analytics choices

We count visits to dealertoolkit.co.uk with our own simple analytics, so we can see which pages help dealers and where our visitors come from. We built it ourselves: no Google Analytics, no advertising tools, nothing shared with anyone else, and it is never used for advertising.

What we count

• The page you viewed (the address only, without anything after a "?").
• The name of the website that sent you here, for example google.com (never the full address you came from).
• Campaign tags in our own links (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term).
• Clicks on our main buttons, for example "Start free trial" and "Add to Chrome".
• Your country, worked out by our hosting provider at the time of the visit. Your IP address is not stored.
• If you create an account: where your first visit came from, saved with your account, so we can see which sources lead to sign-ups.

What we do not do

• No cookies, no fingerprinting, and no tracking across other websites.
• We do not store your IP address or your browser details.
• We cannot tell who you are from these counts.

Your browser keeps a small note of where your first visit came from (for 90 days) and whether you turned analytics off. Raw records are deleted after 13 months; after that we keep only daily totals. More detail is in our privacy policy.
