What is DealerToolkit?
DealerToolkit is a Chrome extension for UK car sellers that turns your stock feed into ready-filled Facebook Marketplace listings, photos included. You check each one and press Publish. It works for private sellers, independent dealers, franchise dealers and main dealers.
Facebook has no public way for UK sellers to upload vehicle stock to Marketplace in bulk: free dealer feeds ended in 2021 and Business Page vehicle listings were removed in January 2023. Every car has to go through Facebook’s own listing form. DealerToolkit does that form for you, inside your own logged-in Chrome, so listing a car takes seconds instead of minutes.
From stock feed to Marketplace in three steps
Connect your stock
Paste the stock feed link from your DMS or website provider, or load a CSV file. Press "Run feed" to see every car sorted by status.
Tick the cars to post
Choose the cars that need listing and press "Post selected". DealerToolkit opens Facebook Marketplace and fills in each one.
Check and press Publish
Every field and photo is filled and your groups are ticked. Check the preview, press Publish, and the next car follows.
Everything a Marketplace car listing needs, done for you
Every field filled for you
Vehicle type, year, make, model, mileage, price, body style, colour, condition, fuel, gearbox and description, matched to Facebook’s own options.
Up to 20 photos uploaded
Photos come straight from your stock feed in your order, best shot first. No downloading and re-uploading.
Descriptions your way
One layout for every car with placeholders, bullet points, emojis and the points you want on every post.
Groups ticked for you
Name your Facebook groups once. DealerToolkit ticks up to 20 of them on every listing before you publish.
Sold, renew and price changes
Run your feed and see what needs posting, what has sold, what needs a fresh listing and whose price has changed.
Posts like a careful person
One car at a time, in your own browser, random waits between cars, daily limits, and you press Publish every time.
For anyone selling cars on Facebook Marketplace
Private sellers
Selling one or two cars? List them from a simple spreadsheet with the same polish as a dealer.
Independent dealers
Keep your whole forecourt on Marketplace without spending your mornings typing listings.
Franchise dealers
Put used stock in front of local Marketplace buyers straight from your DMS feed.
Main dealers and groups
Consistent descriptions and posting limits across sites, with a feed from your stock system.
Every car, every field, every photo, every time
A Facebook Marketplace car listing means picking the vehicle type, year, make, body style, colour, condition, fuel and gearbox from menus, typing the model, mileage, price and description, and uploading the photos. For a forecourt of cars, that is hours each week.
Tick, check, publish
The form and photos fill themselves from your stock feed, your description layout is applied, and your groups are ticked. You spend your time checking the listing and pressing Publish, not typing.

Common questions
What is DealerToolkit?
DealerToolkit is a Chrome extension that posts your cars to Facebook Marketplace for you. It reads your stock feed, fills in every field of the Facebook vehicle listing, uploads up to 20 photos and ticks your chosen groups. You check each listing and press Publish. It is made for UK dealers and private sellers.
Is there a tool to automatically post cars to Facebook Marketplace?
Yes. DealerToolkit is a Chrome extension that fills in Facebook Marketplace car listings automatically from your stock feed, including photos, make, model, mileage, price and description. Facebook has no public API for creating Marketplace listings, so tools like DealerToolkit work inside your own logged-in browser and you press Publish.
How do I bulk upload cars to Facebook Marketplace?
Facebook Marketplace has no bulk upload for vehicles in the UK. The fastest way is a tool such as DealerToolkit: tick the cars from your stock feed, press "Post selected", and each listing is filled in for you one after another. You press Publish on each, which takes a few seconds per car.
Who is DealerToolkit for?
DealerToolkit is for anyone selling cars or vans on Facebook Marketplace in the UK: private sellers, independent dealers, franchise dealers and main dealers. It suits anyone with a stock list, from a few cars on a spreadsheet to hundreds of vehicles in a dealer management system.
Can car dealers sell on Facebook Marketplace in the UK?
Yes. Dealers in the UK can list vehicles on Facebook Marketplace from a personal Facebook profile. Facebook removed vehicle listings from Business Pages in January 2023 and ended free dealer inventory feeds in 2021, so listings are made through the normal vehicle listing form, which DealerToolkit fills in for you.
Does Facebook have an API to post cars to Marketplace?
No. Facebook has no public API that lets a UK seller create Marketplace vehicle listings. Its partner listing programme covers only certain EU countries, and its vehicle catalogue is used for paid Automotive Inventory Ads. Tools that post cars work by filling in Facebook’s own listing form in your browser.
Do I have to say I am a dealer on Facebook Marketplace?
Yes, if you sell as a business. Since 6 April 2025 the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 makes it a banned practice for a trader to give the impression they are a private seller. Dealers should include their business name or a clear trader statement in every listing.
