How to post cars to Facebook Marketplace with DealerToolkit

3 min5 stepsFor: EveryoneUpdated

To post cars, run your feed, tick the cars under "Needs posting" and press "Post selected". DealerToolkit opens Facebook Marketplace, fills in every field, uploads up to 20 photos, ticks your chosen groups and stops. You check the listing and press Publish. The next car opens after a short wait.

  1. Run your feed

On the "Stock" tab, press "Run feed" so the list is up to date.

  2. Tick the cars to post

Under "Needs posting", tick each car you want to list, or use "Select all". DealerToolkit posts them in the order shown, up to your "Cars per sitting" limit.

  3. Press "Post selected"

A Facebook Marketplace "Vehicle for sale" page opens. DealerToolkit fills in the vehicle type, year, make, model, mileage, price, body style, colour, condition, fuel type, gearbox and description, and uploads the photos.

A panel in the corner shows a tick next to every field. Anything it could not fill is shown in red so you can complete it by hand.

  4. Check the listing and press Publish

DealerToolkit moves to the "List in more places" step and ticks any groups you chose in Settings. Check the preview, then press Publish yourself.

You always press Publish. DealerToolkit never publishes a listing on its own.

  5. Let it move to the next car

After you publish, DealerToolkit records the listing and waits a short, random time (1 to 3 minutes by default) before opening the next car in the same tab. Keep the tab open until the run finishes.

Tip:Press "Stop run" in the panel at any time. Cars you have not reached stay under "Needs posting".

Questions about this guide

Does DealerToolkit publish listings automatically?

No. DealerToolkit fills in each Facebook Marketplace listing and uploads the photos, then waits. You check the listing and press Publish yourself. This keeps you in control and keeps your posting pattern like a normal person’s.

How long does it take to post a car?

Filling in the form and uploading photos usually takes 20 to 40 seconds per car. With the default wait between cars, five cars take roughly 10 to 15 minutes, most of which needs no attention from you.
