How to handle sold cars, renewals and price changes

3 min4 stepsFor: EveryoneUpdated

Each time you press "Run feed", DealerToolkit compares your stock with what you have posted. Sold shows cars that left your feed, Price changed shows cars whose price moved, and Renew shows listings older than your renewal setting (7 days by default). Each has a link to the listing and a button to confirm once done.

  1. Run your feed

Press "Run feed" on the Stock tab. Look at the status filters with a number next to them.

  2. Sold: take the listing down

Open "Sold", click "View on Facebook", and mark the listing as sold or delete it on Facebook. Then press "Done on Facebook" so DealerToolkit stops showing it.

  3. Price changed: update the price

Open "Price changed". It shows the price you posted and the new price. Edit the price on Facebook, then press "Price updated". Or delete the listing and press "Deleted it, post again" to list it fresh.

  4. Renew: give older listings fresh reach

Listings lose visibility over time. When a car reaches your renewal age, delete the old listing on Facebook, press "Deleted it, post again", and it returns to "Needs posting".

Tip:Change the renewal age in Settings, "Posting limits", "Mark for renewal after (days)".
